Our Little Roy isn't so Little anymore...

Congratulations to "Our Little Roy"
Class of 2009'
Roy and Rylee

My Uncle Joe, Aunt Joanne, Mom & Uncle Paul

Last night we all gathered the family to see our "little" cousin Roy graduate from Fullerton High School. Roy graduated with honors and a grade point average of a 4.0! We are proud of him. In August he will be leaving to join the US Air Force academy in Texas. I have seen my cousin mature and grow up so much in the Lord these years! I am so proud of him and his accomplishments. We're going to miss him terribly once he starts the Air Force after the academy, but he knows he has lots of love and family support back home! (Especially since he knows his cousin Christina will send him LOTS of care packages too!!!) We're so proud of you Roy, this journey in your life is just beginning, and remember God never said it'd be easy but He did promise He'll always be there for you! So always remember that regardless of what the future holds know you have a God who is with you wherever you go! He is your strength!!!!

My Beautiful Niece

Girls Weekend

Abby's Mini Vacation

Well today I said good-bye to my wonderful friend Abby Day! Abby spent the past five days with me visiting from Memphis, TN. It was her turn to come visit me in CA, since I had visited her in Memphis last August! :) We had a wonderful time! Friday we spent the afternoon at the LA ZOO. Abby LOVES the Zoo (like I love Disneyland). She has an annual pass for the Memphis Zoo. I wasn't a fan of the LA ZOO, I personally didn't think they had much of anything to see there. Most of the animals we're sleeping or no where to be found. I think next time I'll take her to the San Diego Zoo where we had thought about going the first time!, But had a change of plans. After the Zoo we went to Palm Dessert and did some shopping, since you know when you get any girls together we HAVE to shop!

Saturday morning we spent a few hours at my favorite place Disneyland! We really didn't ride much because Abby isn't too fond of the rides there. We rode Mr. Toad, Snow White, Star Tours and Pirates. We also watched the Aladdin Show at DCA (which has to be the best show I've ever seen by far at Disneyland!) I had invited my sister and Ryan for a FREE day at Disneyland but they passed it up for the Santa Ana Zoo! I suppose they had a great time anyway after seeing their photos :)

Our weekend was filled with lots of fun, we visited old friends for lunch, dinner and movies, and played some WII!!! And I lost count how many times we went to yogurtland. (I'll have to agree with Abby and say that is the place to be!!!! If you've never had frozen yogurt this is the place to have your first taste!!)

Time went by sooooo fast! But I was very happy that she was able to come and visit for a few days!

No Pressure! High Five!

This evening I attend Evelyn's friends wedding in Temecula.
Let me share with you, I love attending weddings! There is nothing more memorable and heart melting to look at the groom's reaction as he sees his future wife for the first time in that beautiful white dress! It's a beautiful moment!!!
As they were repeating their vows the groom didn't quite repeat "word for word" what the pastor said. The pastor had him repeat after him "My body will be pleasure to you" and he repeated "my body will be pleasure to me" and of course had the whole wedding party and guests laughing for quite a few mins! (it's amazing what lightens up everyone!) ha ha ha. Felt bad for the groom he was pretty much embarassed and as his wife repeated her vows she surely made hers clear! It was great!
The reception was absouletly beautiful!!!!!!!!! They played GREAT GREAT music, and had some great food! Towards the end of the night they had the bonquet toss which let me mention I DID NOT WANT TO DO, but was pulled in my Evelyn and her family! Lucky me, OF COURSE, I caught the flowers! (My worse fear was having to dance but thank God i didnt have to) Next was the garter toss in which we stood a took a photo with the bride and groom.
What made an akward moment into a more comfortable one was me telling the guy who caught the garter "Hey you gotta a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend!" and he said "YES! no pressure! high five!!!" Obvisously we were happily proud to tell each other we were taken! :) I love my Gino!
Overall we had a great time and I left with some beautiful roses!

Pumpkins! Pumpkins!

This evening, Rylee and I met her Grandma Susan, and her cousins at the Pumpkin Patch at Golden West College. We had tons of fun! Rylee and Arianna fed the goats, chickens, road pony's, jumped in the jumping balloons, and picked out pumpkins! And as you can see on the left we got some awesome vampire teeth!!!

Revolve Tour 08'

This past weekend the leaders and I took the girls from our youth group to the "Revolve Tour" in Anaheim at the Honda Center. The arena was filled with all girls from Hawaii, some local; Orange, Anaheim, Corona. We also enjoyed a variety of Christian artists, some which included: Hawk Nelson (in which the girls went crazy for!) and the beautiful and talented Natalie Grant. The two day concert also included great motivational speakers that encouraged the girls to have a closer relationship with God, and to value themselves as young ladies. The concert also connected with the girls who are struggling in certain areas of possibly, self esteem issues, school, friends, relationships etc etc. We had a great time drawing closer to Christ, and fellowshiping together as we all sang along to "Girls just wanna have fun!"
